Ryanair Boeing 737-800, registration EI-EVL performing flight FR-3697 from Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) to Gothenburg (Sweden), landed on Gothenburg's runway 21 when after touchdown the crew declared Mayday and advised they'd be stopping here, they had a fire on board.

A PIA Pakistan International Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration AP-BOM performing flight PK-223 from Faisalabad (Pakistan) to Dubai (United Arab Emirates) with 145 passengers and 7 crew, was accelerating for takeoff from Faisalabad's runway 03R when a bird was ingested by the right hand engine (CFM56) prompting the crew to reject takeoff at high speed (about 135 knots over ground). The aircraft slowed safely and became disabled on the runway with both left hand tyres deflated. The right hand engine received a number of bent fan blades.

An ANA All Nippon Airways Boeing 737-800, registration JA88AN performing flight NH-372 from Nagasaki to Nagoya (Japan) with 104 people on board, was descending towards Nagoya when the crew initiated an emergency descent due to the loss of cabin pressure. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 18 about 25 minutes later.

A Delta Airlines Airbus A321-200N, registration N513DA performing flight DL-475 from Boston,MA to San Francisco,CA (USA), was in the initial climb out of Boston's runway 22R when the crew reported they needed to shut their left hand engine (PW1133G) down. The crew stopped the climb at 1500 feet MSL, later climbed to 2000 feet MSL and returned to Boston for a safe landing on runway 22R about 20 minutes after departure.

A Malaysia Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration 9M-MXU performing flight MH-199 from Hyderabad (India) to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) with 138 people on board, was climbing out of Hyderabad when the crew stopped the climb at FL290 due to a malfunction of the right hand engine (CFM56), which emitted sparks. The crew shut the engine down, drifted down to FL190 and returned to Hyderabad. The aircraft entered a hold to burn off fuel and landed safely on runway 27L about 2.5 hours after departure.

By Simon Hradecky From The Aviation Herald.A Smartlynx Airlines Malta Boeing 737-8 MAX on behalf of TUI Airways, registration 9H-ETA performing flight TOM-213 from Dalaman (Turkey) to Manchester,EN (UK) with 189 people on board, was accelerating for takeoff from Dalaman's runway 19 when the crew rejected takeoff at high speed (about 110 knots over ground) due to a problem with one of the engines (LEAP). The aircraft slowed safely and returned to the apron.

A Fly Jinnah Airbus A320-200, registration AP-BOV performing flight 9P-843 from Lahore to Karachi (Pakistan), was climbing out of Lahore when the crew stopped the climb at FL080 reporting a problem with the pressurization. The crew subsequently advised the problem was resolved and requested to continue to climb and was cleared to climb to FL360. Climbing through FL230 both captain and first officer felt dizzy, drowsy and inactive, both donned their oxygen masks, stopped the climb at FL270 and requested to descend and return to Lahore. A member of the cabin crew passed out and regained consciousness after being administered oxygen, the other cabin crew members also did not feel comfortable. The aircraft landed back in Lahore about 45 minutes after departure.

An Easyjet Airbus A319-100, registration G-EZBV performing positioning flight U2-9002 from Sofia (Bulgaria) to London Gatwick,EN (UK) with 2 crew on board, was climbing through FL300 out of Sofia when the crew initiated an emergency descent to FL100 and returned to Sofia for a safe landing on runway 27 about 35 minutes after departure.
